Many secondary educators and Leaders are not sure what explicit teaching of reading skills looks like in the secondary classroom. This session will provide clear "LOOK FORS” to help classroom teachers and Leaders build their capacity to provide Reading Instruction to multiple content areas in secondary education. Participants will learn & practice a variety of modeling, examples, and resources focused on Before, During & After reading strategies that support explicit reading instruction. Participants will need their devices.
