This session will help teachers learn how to observe a child’s writing and engage with them to provide that extra “nudge” to take their writing to the next level. We will examine the developmental stages of young writers and prepare primary teachers to know their students as writers. We will also look into the relationship between reading and writing and the importance of oral language in building strong young writers.
